Hieros Gamos is the Eighth Volume of the Hieronymus Bosch The Garden Of Delight Evolution Series.

In April 2011 we had the Chance to perform in two different Places:
at the "Forte Fanfulla" Center in Roma the 7th April 2011 and at the "Angelo Mai" Center ther 29th April 2011.

Both Performances are an Evolution of the Studies about the Hieronymus Bosch The Garden of Earthly Delight Tryptich and Alessandro Pintus intitled these Performances Hieros Gamos.

The Term "Hieros Gamos" is formed from two Greek words meaning "Sacred Marriage". Having its roots in ancient fertility cults, part of the ritual hierosgamos had evolved into a highly developed spiritual discipline that enabled man to achieve gnosis, or direct knowledge of the divine, through ritualized sexual union with a woman recognized as a priestess. The theory is based on the philosophy that man is fundamentally incomplete, and can reach the gods (represented by the pagan god Baphomet) only marrying the feminine principles in a way that physical and spiritual causes an altered state of consciousness at the moment of climax

The First Track "Hieros Gamos 1" is a Music Experiment combining different important Music Phases taken from the other Volumes and it was played and recorded Live by Perceptual Defence at the "Forte Fanfulla" Center in Roma (Italy) the 7th April 2011 for the "Niente di presentabile Review"

Hieros Gamos 2 is a complete new Performance that we did at "Angelo Mai" Center in Roma (Italy) the 29th April 2011.
The Music is more powerful with some Rythmic Part.
A Curiosity is that the first Three Minutes are composed and played by my Daughter Raffaella Quirici (at the Time 8 Years Old ).
