Breaths & Threads is the Soundtrack for the "Fili" Butoh Dance Performance created by Alessandro Pintus for his Non-Company Butoh Dancers Group.
It was performed the 27th June 2003 at the Ced "Isola che non c'è" Dance Center, Roma (Italy).
Breaths & Threads (Fili) is a Voyage in ourselves and above all in our Torments that can fall ourselves into Madness. The Thread in this Sense is our Life and its Ambivalence (Life and Death) but also our two ways to face the Life: Evolving or falling into Madness
The Music of Breaths & Threads is in the traditional Dark Ambient Post-Industrial Style (Zoviet france, Lustmord, Nocturnal Emission, etc...)

Although Breaths & Threads is a single 66 min Track, it is divided in 6 Movements:

a) min. 00.00 - 04.03 (Breaths of Life)
b) min. 04.03 - 25.45 (Anguish revealed)
c) min. 25.45 - 33.20 (Mystery Voices)
d) min. 33.20 - 48.13 (Lost in the Unconscious)
e) min. 48.13 - 57.15 (Dark Threads)
f) min. 57.15 - 66.37 (Looking for a minimum Light)

All Music played by Perceptual Defence (GabrieleQuirici) with the collaboration of Magnetic Butterfly (Valentina Quirici)

Breaths & Threads was relesed in 2003 in a very limited 10 pieces (sold out) self produced cd Edition.
This new Release with new Covers created by Perceptual Defence in 2014

This is the first Volume of the "Music for Butoh Dance Performances Series".
